Our Antique Journey

We are finally ready to go public!
We have been enjoying the comfortable and exciting world of antiques for many years but the time had come, to face our fears and delve into the world of online selling.

It's lovely when you (think) you know what youre doing and how to do it. Up until now, we've been living our best life finding and handling beautiful things, going on roadtrips to all sorts of lovely places to pick up our purchases, and getting creative with the photography. The pleasure/pain balance was in our favour, but we just knew, that the dark forces of the internet were looming over us, we had to start the pay-back.
Like a lamb to the slaughter, I sat down to create the Roche Bridge Antiques website.
I like to think of myself as capable and my husband says I'm tenacious (thats code for obsessive) I'm also proud to say that I'm no Luddite but its obvious to me now, that I'm actually away with the fairies, or much more naive than my nearest and dearest would have you believe. It all started so well, but very quickly I was beset by the demons of technical terminology. Every well-explained instruction sending me down rabbit holes of having to look up the words, before I could even begin to start the task. I've woken up sweating, with the words DNS, SEO, Meta Tags, URL, HTML codes, etc. swirling around in my brain.
There are bound to be teething troubles - I'm prepared for that. Now I just have to work out how to get my creation seen. Perhaps you could help me with that by sharing?
Wish me luck!

Concise but interesting. Your introduction caught my interest (as an Antique myself).
A very well presented website. Hard to do but yet you overcome yet again. No task is too hard for you. Very very proud. I wish you luck on your new adventure of internet shopping. X x x
