Stunning Wedgwood lilac Jasperware Trophy Plate beautifully hand decorated in England with Aurora and Pegasus.
The plate has further sprigged decoration of a band of ribbon entwined ivy leaves, and a band of floral swags emanating from rams heads, this interspersed with further classical motifs and single flowers within arches to the rim.
The plate is fully marked to the reverse with an impressed “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” mark along with GI and the letter N.
Overall - a triumph of the spriggers craft!
The plate measures 22cm in diameter and is in excellent undamaged condition.
