Stunning Chiming mantle clock entitled “Marie Antoinette” and made for the Victoria and Albert museum as a direct reproduction of a clock made by Dieudonné Kinable and the Royal Sevres Porcelain Manufactory.
 
The clock is predominantly porcelain in the shape of a lyre with an ormolu draped floral wreath and sun rays mask. 
 
The dial is marked with Roman numerals encircled by the months (in French) and the signs of the zodiac.
 
The bezel of the clock has rope twist brass detailing with a circle of brilliant Austrian crystal.
 
The movement is Franz Hermle (two jewels) made in Germany and as can be seen in my video, working well and with the Bim Bam chime sequence on the hour and half hour.
 
The clock comes with a winding key (not original).
 
Excellent condition throughout.
