A beautiful Paris Porcelain Litron shaped cup and saucer dating to the empire era. The cup is skilfully hand painted in monotones upon a peachy brown ground with a gilded patterned band at the top of the cup and a gilded foot rim and handle. Apart from an impressed circular turning mark to the underside, both pieces are unmarked however, the style of the cup and decoration leads me to believe that the duo was made by either Dagoty, Charles Halley or Henri Florentin Chanou.
Dimensions
Excluding the handle- cup 6 x 6cm
Saucer 13 x 3cm
Condition
Some wear to painted decoration on saucer
Crack to glaze on the underside of the saucer (glaze crack only, does not affect the porcelain) as per final picture.
