Stunning and rare Neodymium glass decanter and six glasses by Gino Mazzuccato on unrelated but well matched tray.
The Set is heavily gilded with hand enamelled floral decoration and the stems and decanter handle are beautifully twisted. As can be seen in my photographs this is a colour change glass, being a rich lilac in daylight changing to blue in artificial light. All pieces are in excellent undamaged condition.
The glass is substantial and the decanter an impressive 42cm tall - the bottle of wine in my pictures gives an idea of scale (wine not included in the sale) .
The decanter is signed by the artist and there is also an etched inscription to the foot “Honey Bee & Verona”.
