Beautiful hand painted square serving bowl and spoon by Atellier Camille le Tallec, Paris dating to 1955.

The bowl has a square profile and is beautifully hand painted with a Florentine style pattern on an apricot ground band, interspersed on each of the four sides with an exotic bird, classical urn, pineapple and rose swag. The centre of the dish has a gilded medallion pattern encircled by a raised gilded decorative band. The decoration is echoed to the outside of the bowl and to the handle of the pouring spoon.

The bowl is fully marked to the underside with the makers Sevres style L T monogram with the year code “dd” within and the painters mark MC beneath.

The bowl is in excellent undamaged condition however the spoon does have a crack to the underside as pictured.
