Stunning and rare large Kralik/Loetz mushroom shaped lamp shade dating to approximately 1900.
 
The shade is a beautiful white with iridescent flashes of pink, purple, peacock blue, green and gold with a pink iridescent veined overlay. 
 
This pattern is referred to as “Tooled and Threaded” in the Kralik Decor Index but as Palme-Koenig (referred to as Threaded) and Loetz made similar veined pieces, I cannot be absolutely certain of its provenance.
 
The shade is not without its flaws (all pictured) but nearly all would be hidden beneath the fitter that would need to be used.
