Large Art Deco Plaster sculpture of a roaring Lion on a rocky outcrop signed “Biagioni” with additional wording below that I can’t quite make out.
 
The Lion is in fairly good condition and has a painted “terracotta” effect body which I believe to be the original finish. There are a couple of small white patches where the paint has chipped off (this could easily be painted back in). 
 
This is an imposing and handsome figure measuring max 30 x 47 x 17cm
