Stunning French table lamp Sevres Style, Standing 38cm to the top of the bulb holder and 57cm to the top of the lamp shade.
 
The lamp has a rococo style gold gilt metal (ormolu?) foot, a waisted column with a shell pattern “cup” over.
 
The main porcelain body of the lamp has a beautiful Celeste Bleu ground with a gilded trellis pattern and a framed panel both front and back. One of the panels depicts a beautiful floral spray, the other, a portrait of a courting couple. 
 
The top of the lamp is beautifully mounted with an ornate gilt metal (ormolu) collar.
 
The lamp has been Rewired with a new braided flex and bulb holder and a standard three pin plug is fitted (not new).
 
The metal base of the lamp is stamped EB (foundry mark?)
 
The lamp is complete with a later beaded silk shade however, the bulb is not included.
 
The lamp is in excellent condition overall, only very minor wear to the gilding and gilt metal still bright.
