Beautiful Lobmeyr champagne glass standing 12cm tall.
The glass bowl is an unusual shape having an extended drinking lip to the left hand side.
The bowl is decorated with an enamelled pattern in the rococo manner and features a gentleman in period dress carrying a gun and with his gun dog at his heel. The rococo design is echoed on the foot of the glass.
The stem of the glass is of a tapering faceted form and the foot has a faceted rim and disc cut band.
Although unmarked, this design from the “Rococo Series” is well documented in several books which attributes the form and design to Ludwig Lobmeyr and the decor design to Heinrich Bergmann.
Excellent condition and gilding still bright and unworn.
