Beautiful pair of Lobmeyr champagne glasses standing 11cm tall.
The glass bowls are each twelve sided oval shapes decorated with an enamelled pattern in the rococo manner and features a gentleman and lady in period dress both with a dog at their feet. The rococo design is echoed on the foot of the glass.
The stems of the glasses is of a tapering faceted form and the foot is eight sided with a disc and straight cut pattern.
Although unmarked, this design from the “Rococo Series” is well documented in several books which attributes the form and design to Ludwig Lobmeyr and the decor design to Heinrich Bergmann.
Excellent condition and gilding still bright and unworn.
