Antique 19thc French copper wall mounted lavabo. 
 
A lavabo is a wall mounted vessel for dispensing water for the ritual washing of the celebrant's hands at the offertory of the Mass. Now more commonly used as components in water features or as planters.
 
This lavabo is in good condition and is still “tinned” inside. There is still a spigot (requiring bung) and the lid fits neatly although the finial is missing.
