Stunning Antique Coalport ewer standing 24.5cm tall.
 
The ewer has a cobalt gold foot with gilded moulded detailing, a cream body with a sumptuous heavily raised gilded pattern and vignette of a Scottish Loch to the front.
 
The cobalt blue neck terminates in a curvaceous gilded pouring spout and the elegant moulded acanthus leaves handle is also heavily gilded. 
 
The ewer is fully marked to the underside with the Coalport makers mark, pattern number and registration number 283672 which firmly dates the design to circa 1896.
 
This piece has no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
