Impressive Oil lamp standing 95cm tall.
 
The lamp has a brass stepped base beneath a plinth that supports a Corinthian column and has a footprint of 16.5 cm square.
 
The cased glass font is dark pink on the top graduating to light pink at the base with a darker hand enamelled band around the perimeter. The top and main body of the font is decorated with a stylised berries and leaves pattern accented with raised textured gold outlines and magenta lustre leaves.
 
The brass burner screws into a brass collar on the top of the font, the burner has two working wick winders with black buttons stamped English Made, a working snuffer lever and wicks.
 
A quality brass gallery supports a glass shade with bands of opaque etching. A repeating pattern of purple flowers encircles the globe on the central etching.
 
The lamp is finished with a clear glass flat bulge chimney which is held in the burners teeth and extends through the shade.
