Rare Army & Navy CSL London copper canteen.
 
The canteen is oval and has an ergonomic design being curved to fit closely to the body.
 
There are lugs either side for straps (lacking) one of which is stamped 37.
 
The filler cap is brass and fits well and the top is marked with the CSL London mark that pre-dates it to circa 1934 when it became The Army & Navy Stores Ltd.
 
The canteen is in overall good condition with no dents but looks to have had the seams soldered in the ast to make water tight.
